BBBelgium mission
BBBelgium is a collaborative initiative comprising top-notch researchers from various universities across Belgium. Our mission is to unite experts focusing on the study of brain barriers and related phenomena: from understanding the complexities, formation, and function of these barriers, to investigating diseases that compromise them, to finding novel ways to overcome the challenges of drug delivery imposed by these barriers.

Through fostering close collaborations and facilitating the exchange of expertise and knowledge among research laboratories, BBBelgium maximizes the collective potential of researchers, leading to more impactful discoveries and progresses in the study of brain barriers. We firmly believe in the importance of knowledge transfer and organize an annual BBBelgium conference which serves as a platform for researchers to share insights, foster collaborations, and showcase advancements in the field of brain barrier research.
